How to Shortcut
Unlock phone
Slide the unlock bar to the right.
Mute phone
Slide the unlock bar to the left.
Manage notifications and identify operator network
Slide down from status bar at the top of screen to see list of notifications and name of the operator network your phone is connected to.
Return to home screen
Tap home button.
Access recently used applications
Long press home button.
Search
Tap magnifying glass button.
Do a voice search
Long press magnifying glass button.
Do a voice search for calling
Long press magnifying glass button and say "call" and the person's name.
Extend battery life
Go to power control widget and tap icons to quickly shut off Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, sync and screen brightness.
Move or delete widget on home screen
Long press widget.
Add application shortcuts
Go to Applications list, long press the application you want to make a shortcut of.
Bring up list of applications installed on the phone
Tap grid pattern.
Access different home screens
Swipe left/right or touch dots on the bottom left and right of the home screen.
Jump to different home screens
Touch and hold the dots on the bottom left and right of your home screen to see all five home screens at a glance. Tap on a home screen to jump there.
Activate live wallpapers
Long press home screen, select wallpapers, select live wallpapers.
Messaging
How to Shortcut
Get to quick contacts menu from anywhere in the phone
Touch a contact's image or status bubble, then a row of available communications options will appear (e.g. phone, contact details, SMS, email, chat). Click on any of the icons to choose how you'd like to interact with this person.
Access onscreen keyboard
Long press Menu key.
Input text by speaking
Tap microphone icon next to spacebar on virtual keyboard. Available for any text field in any app on the phone.
Access common punctuation symbols
Long press period key.
Cut/copy text
Select the text, touch and hold the selected text, then choose cut or copy.
Paste text
Move to the location where you want to paste the selected text, touch and hold the location, then choose paste.
Lock a text message
Long press an individual text message.
Access highlighted text in a message (numbers, URLs or search for a word on the Web)
Touch and hold respective text in messages.
Web browser
How to Shortcut
To go to a Web page
Touch the URL box at the top of the browser screen. Enter Web page address or search term. Suggestions list appears as you type. Tap on one of the suggestions or complete your entry and touch "go".
Zoom in/zoom out on Web page
Reverse pinch/pinch.
Quickly zoom in and out of a section of the Web page
Double tap the section.
Open history, most visited Web pages and bookmarks
Long press back button.
Open/Open in new window/Bookmark link/Save link/Share link/Copy Link URL
Long press a link/bookmark.
Bookmark a Web page
Tap on the star icon at the top of the browser screen next to the URL box.
Work with multiple browser windows
Press menu button and touch "windows". You can open up to eight browser windows at once and switch among them.

Zoom in/zoom out when viewing photos
Reverse pinch/pinch.
Share photos via email / SMS / Bluetooth or upload to Picasa / Facebook / Twitter
After you take a picture with the phone, tap on the thumbnail image and select "share".
Set picture as contact icon or wallpaper
After you take a picture with the phone, tap on the thumbnail image and select "set as".
Share videos via email / SMS / Bluetooth or upload to YouTube / Twitter
After you take a video with the phone, tap on the menu button and select "share".
